Dance of the Fae

Dance of the Fae

Dreamer dream again
Of little wand’ring souls
The light contained within
Their heart beckons and lulls

Dance of the fae,
Lit up by star,
Road of the lost,
Traveled afar,
Song that’s forgotten,
Riddle obscure…
Words once spoken,
By lips so demure.

Watcher watch anew
The world around you changing
Like waters cool and blue
Paths ever rearranging…

Dreamer dream again

Watcher watch anew

Dance of the fae,
Lit up by star,
Road of the lost,
Traveled afar,
Song that’s forgotten,
Riddle obscure…
Words that once were spoken,
By lips so demure.

Seeker seek aright
The path of least contention
So every moonlit night
Brings with her comprehension

Dance of the fae before the fire,
Lit is the sky by distant star,
Road of the lost winding ever higher,
Traveled by day and night so afar…
Song that’s been forgotten,
With riddles so obscure…
Words that once were spoken,
By lips that are demure.

Destiny is waiting
With baited breath
Fortune plainly stating
What has not happened yet
