Anysti Jul (Fair Winds)

And I hit a rumple in my song writing for a bit there. Basically, my bard’s tale has ended so I’m working on crafting a new outlet for my poetic creativity. Another singer, but probably not a bard. I actually found I didn’t like being the center of attention or being in the background. I’d rather be free to mingle with everyone else in IC circumstances in the MMOs I play.

Without further adieu though, I give you the last of that particular character’s poetry:

Anysti Jul    (Named for the player the song was written for, but if you use it feel free to call it Fair Winds)

Fair winds you say to us once again,
And we smile and we laugh as we part.
Our spirits burning bright now within,
Having seen your journey’s start!

Lady of graceful heart and hands,
Bound by flesh as you are,
How do you rise above life’s demands
And see with your eye from afar…

Beauty, pure to behold,
Treasures, greater than gold,
Nature, earnest and bold,
And stories that yearn to be told~

Is it feeling wrapping around you
Stealing away your attentions,
Then revealing reprieve must be bought with time?

Are you kneeling in front of your muse,
Hearing all that she mentions,
And yet reeling again you must go this time~

Every motion you strive for
Every painting you bring to life
A shard from inside,
A fragment within your heart

Every feeling through you must pour
To make visions so clear and rife
Where passions reside
Where person and painting are no longer seen apart

Lady of graceful heart and hands,
Bound by flesh as you are,
How do you rise above life’s demands
And see with your eye from afar…

What lays so close
Inside your soul?
How can you see it
How can you frame it so distantly?

Lady of graceful heart and hands,
Bound by flesh as you are,
How do you rise above life’s demands
And conjure for us such a star –

The perfect dose
Your vision stole
From this life’s spirit
From this life’s meaning so instantly?

Fair winds you say to us once again,
And we smile and we laugh as we part.
Our spirits burning bright now within,
Having seen your journey’s start!
