Spirit of Sight

Spirit of Sight

In paint grant me sight, a glimpse of your mind,
To see as you see the treasures you find.
If color is feeling and lines are the stage,
The image you conjure will last through this age~

Oh, you with beauty measured in your eye,
And skill of hand to capture the sky,
Wander with me so far away
And let your instinct guide us today

Spirit of color, Spirit of sight
Why are you unsure of your precious light?
How can you paint all that you see
With not a complaint and timid still be?

Stroke of your hand, much more than a touch
Carrying stories within your fair clutch.
Draw of the brush, more than a line
For words may be flowing, but vision’s divine.

Oh, you with beauty measured in your eye,
And skill of hand to capture the sky,
Wander with me so far away
And let your instinct guide us today…

I feel it in your smile
That you would drift a while
From sea to sea and land to land
Following ever your heart’s demand

Spirit of color, Spirit of sight
What leaves you so unsure of your precious light?
How is it you can’t see what your talents share with me:
A world rife with beauty, free, and visual harmony?
