Zephyr Rise

Here’s the bonus post! The second song she wrote for the same occasion. 🙂

Zephyr Rise!

Birdsong fills the air above the path we tred,
Flowers grow anew inside a long-bare bed,
Sun shines through green leaves – small and bright they are,
Spring buds as cold recedes and new life starts.

See the world turn to the warmth of another day,
See the grasses stretching tall and all the fawn at play
Where new leaves make cool shadows on hills of spring green
And new life beginning paints for us a tranquil scene.

Butterflies paint the skies before we passerby,
Streams and brooks sing a song as they wend and they wind,
Far below and far above the cycle starts again,
For roots reach deep and saplings high in every glen.

Zephyr rise~ Zephyr rise~ Open now our springtime eyes,
We celebrate today all that spring implies!

Melodies caught in the air and dance in the meadows,
Every creature seeks its pair in the song as it echoes;
Spring is here, love is near, hearts open so tenderly.
Friendship blooms to something more with hearts bared gingerly.

Zephyr rise~ Zephyr rise~ Open now our springtime eyes,
We celebrate today all that spring implies!
